Our staff consists of two Directors; Mr Jin Shiomura, acting as Representative Director President and Mr Toshihide Endo, acting as Director; along with further 52 employees.
All our staff are experienced in monitoring and have, in their capacities as product managers, guided the research and development of numerous pharmaceuticals, launching them in international markets.
The pharmaceuticals developed and given approval through the effort of our staff include orphan drugs (pharmaceuticals for the treatment of rare diseases) as well as pharmaceuticals for acute cerebral infarction, subarachnoid hemorrhage, brain tumor, primary biliary cirrhosis, anti-thrombosis, anti-platelet, anti-hypertension, anti-angina, anti-diabetes, anti-hypercholesterolemia, anti-depression, anti-allergy, NSAID’s, topica lsteroids, anti-bacterial medications, and pharmaceuticals for external and internal medical examinations, of which include the world’s first pharmaceuticals with novel mechanism of pharmacological action.

The professional experience of our staff stretches from research into the creation of new pharmaceuticals, research and development, the marketing of new pharmaceuticals, post-marketing surveillance, collaborative activity with U.S. and European pharmas as well as venture businesses, product licensing, through to CRO (Clinical Research Organizations), and SMO (Site Management Organizations) operations. Some of our staff also hold directorships on companies listed on First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, positions of responsibility in the realm of post marketing surveillance administration, chairmanships of IRB Committees and so forth.
We exchange ideas and consult with patient support groups and external specialists when researching and developing our pharmaceuticals
Nobelpharma holds consultations and exchange ideas with patient groups and patient support groups in the aim of obtaining objective opinions along with researching the pharmaceuticals that are awaited by people.
Nobelpharma has also entered into consultation and advisory agreements with eight top level researchers and specialists at medical institutions.
Nobelpharma holds detailed discussions and debates with these people in order to formulate the research and development plan of the product; the respective strategies are formulated prior to the commencement of the actual work.
Second year accomplishments
Phase III clinical trials for three products are underway. Among these three, two have been designated orphan drugs.
